Wide-Neck Bleached & Bug Patched T-shirt, Small

$35.00

- From Shoulder to Shoulder, about 16 inches wide
- Base shirt originally marked as women's small

Detailed description:
A short sleeve, black T-shirt that has been acid-washed (essentially just tie-dye with bleach), with 4 patches in the center of the front. They're made from black t-shirt fabric, and are arranged to form a rectangle, with the largest of them (depicting a mantidfly over a faded background) on the upper right, two single bug patches (a spider and a water boatman) directly underneath it, and one long patch (4 different beetles in a row) to the left of the mantidfly patch. The colors of the patches were made to match the bleached parts of the shirt. The shirt itself isn't cropped, but is shorter than most T-shirts, has a wide neck hole, and the waist curves inwards slightly.

Notes:
Each bug on this shirt was hand-carved from either erasers or rubber blocks, and individually printed onto the fabric used to make the patches, then hand-sewn on using a backstitch. The ink is safe to wash and will last longest if washed in cold water and hanged to dry. The shirt was neutralized in hydrogen peroxide before washing to prevent damage from the bleach.
